Dr. Edgar Huang is known among his students for his unique English placement testing strategies and English foundation enhancement strategies. His SAT/PSAT English Enhancement Class (SEEC) started in May 2006. it covers four connected areas in language art in the SAT/PSAT test: writing, grammar, vocabulary and critical reading.

Dr. Huang's teaching in SEEC has not only helped those highly self-motivated students to achieve their dreams, but has also successfully converted some students who have not cultivated a good learning habit into active and responsible learners. SEEC has played a influential role among numerous students from the United States. Many students from 6th grade to 12th grade have benefited from his rigorous, insightful and humorous SAT strategy teaching and have drastically boosted their SAT, PSAT and ACT scores and boosted their school English/language arts performances. Many students earned 800 points in the Writing section and the Critical Reading section in real SAT.

Dr. Huang was an English major and has 30 years of college teaching experience. He is currently a professor at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
